  1. 32 Winds Cabernet Sauvignon Diamond Mountain, Napa Valley 2010

32 Winds Cabernet Sauvignon Diamond Mountain, Napa Valley 2010

90 points Wine Specator - Our 2010 Cabernet is made from a historic single vineyard atop Diamond Mountain in northern Napa Valley. The higher elevation of this vineyard results in less cool fog coming in from San Pablo Bay and more direct exposure to sunlight. The vineyard is over 30 years old and consequently does not produce a high volume of fruit; instead the lower yielding vines produce much more concentrated, powerful intense fruit, exactly what you need for a great cabernet.

The grapes were hand-harvested in the middle of October, de-stemmed and transferred to closed-top fermenters, where the skins and juice remained in contact for an extended maceration. The juice was then pressed off and moved directly to Taransaud French oak barrels, 75% of which were new, and aged for 21 months. Learn More

  6. Antinori Family Antica Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 2013

Antinori Family Antica Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 2013

94 points Wine Advocate - A beautifully elegant, stylish Cabernet Sauvignon from the Antinori outpost in Napa Valley, their 2013 has a dense ruby/purple color, a beautiful, sweet kiss of pure blackcurrant fruit, licorice and forest floor. Full-bodied, but with creamy texture, sweet, beautifully integrated acidity, tannin and alcohol, this is an impressively well-crafted wine that’s drinkable now, but should evolve nicely for another 15-20 years. (Dec 2015)

94 points Wine Enthusiast - Elegant and on the more austere side of the variety, this wine is graceful and complex. Tight-grained waves of cherry, cranberry and cassis marry well with its velvety texture and restrained use of oak. (Dec 2016) Learn More
