The Beau-Rivage wine is one of Bordeaux's oldest brands and has been Borie-Manoux's business card for more than 60 years. It is a combination of wines produced on several of the company's properties. Beau-Rivage Premium was launched with the vintage of 2008 as a wine in Bordeaux Supérieur quality. It is usually composed of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. The fermentation takes place for 2-3 weeks on temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine matures on new classic Bordeaux barriques for six months.
The main emphasis is on Merlot and the wine has a delicious and fairly immediate fruit flavor, as well as a good velor and finesse in taste. Cabernet Sauvignon also gives it a good structure and depth, with it is clearly the finesse and elegance that wins in this very harmonious wine. The stay on wood has added the character of vanilla and wood to the aftertaste, without it being overtaken.
