  3. 2015 Golan Heights Winery Yarden Chardonnay, Galilee 2015

2015 Golan Heights Winery Yarden Chardonnay, Galilee 2015

Yarden Chardonnay was produced entirely from Chardonnay grapes grown in the northern Golan Heights. The cool climate, rocky volcanic soil and high altitude are ideal conditions for growing classic wine grape varieties. Barrel fermentation and aging for seven months, along with partial malolactic fermentation, yields a beautiful complex wine balancing fruit with subtle oak. To preserve the quality of the wine, this bottle should be stored on its side in a cool, dark place. Best Served at 50 - 55 ?F The wine is not "mevushal", Otzar Beit Din Shmittah wine. Exported after "biur". Kosher Lamehadrin, Kosher for Passover - Rabbi Yishai Samuel Learn More

  4. 32 Winds Cabernet Sauvignon Diamond Mountain, Napa Valley 2010

32 Winds Cabernet Sauvignon Diamond Mountain, Napa Valley 2010

90 points Wine Specator - Our 2010 Cabernet is made from a historic single vineyard atop Diamond Mountain in northern Napa Valley. The higher elevation of this vineyard results in less cool fog coming in from San Pablo Bay and more direct exposure to sunlight. The vineyard is over 30 years old and consequently does not produce a high volume of fruit; instead the lower yielding vines produce much more concentrated, powerful intense fruit, exactly what you need for a great cabernet.

The grapes were hand-harvested in the middle of October, de-stemmed and transferred to closed-top fermenters, where the skins and juice remained in contact for an extended maceration. The juice was then pressed off and moved directly to Taransaud French oak barrels, 75% of which were new, and aged for 21 months. Learn More

  5. 32 Winds Chardonnay Hudson Vineyard, Carneros 2010

32 Winds Chardonnay Hudson Vineyard, Carneros 2010

92 points Wine Advocate - The proximity to the fog and breezes from the bay makes the climate in Los Carneros cooler than surrounding areas, the perfect environment in which to grow chardonnay. The vineyard has rocky well-drained soils that are planted to the shy-bearing heritage shot Wente clone.

The grapes were hand harvested and whole-cluster pressed into French oak barrels, approximately 40% of which were new. Both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation occurred naturally in the barrel, and the resultant wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered in order to handle it as minimally as possible. Learn More
